SRM ist Sponsor des neuen Triathlon-Teams „Team Abu Dhabi Triathlon".
Das „Tri Team Abu Dhabi" ist ein langfristig angelegtes Projekt, bei dem neben der sportlichen Höchstleistung auch der Triathlon Lebensstil und Fairness vermittelt werden sollen. Auf dem Wettkampfkalender des Teams stehen IronMan, Halfironman und Multisports-Events.
Kopf des Teams ist der Münchner Faris Al Sultan, Gewinner des Hawaii-Ironman 2005. Er ist für seine hervorragende Leistungsfähigkeit auf dem Rad bekannt und nutzt SRM Systeme schon seit Jahren in Training und Wettkampf. Mit einem Aerodynamiktest auf der Radrennbahn in Büttgen unter Leitung von Uli Schoberer legte Faris einen Grundstein für seinen Erfolg 2005 auf Hawaii.
Alle Storck Teamräder sind mit SRM Wireless DuraAce Systemen ausgerüstet.

Faris Al-Sultan ist Teamgründer und Leitfigur des Team Abu Dhabi Triathlon. Seine Ironman-Karriere begann er schon mit 19 Jahren auf Lanzarote. In nur wenigen Jahren hat er sich zum deutschen Ironman-Aushängeschild hochgearbeitet und krönte sich 2005 zum Weltmeister auf Hawaii.
