Tri Team Abu Dhabi is a long term project with two goals; supporting optimal performance in triathlon, and representing the triathlon lifestyle and fairness in sports. The focuses of the team are Ironman, Ironman 70.3, and other multisport events.
The team is built around Faris Al Sultan, winner of the 2005 Ironman World Championship in Hawaii, who is well known for his strong performance on the bike. He is a long time user of SRM Systems for training and racing. Fellow countrymen Uli Schoberer and Faris (both are born in Munich, Bavaria) performed aerodynamic testing on the track in Buettgen/Cologne in preparation for Faris' big success in Hawaii in 2005.
All Storck team bikes are equiped with SRM Wireless DuraAce Systems.

Faris Al-Sultan is the team founder and the leader of Team Abu Dhabi Triathlon. He has started his Ironman carrier with 19 on the island of Lanzarote. Within a few years he became the German epitome of Ironman. In 2005 he has crowned himself as Ironman world champion in Kona, Hawaii.
