| The Italian-based Team Liquigas-Doimo is looking forward to an ambitious 2010 season. With a perfect mix of riders for the general classification and sprinters, the team is capable of challenging their opponents in nearly every race.

| For Ivan Basso, 2009 was his comeback year in racing. Winning the Giro del Trentino and finishing fourth overall at the Giro and the Vuelta makes him one of the main contenders for the general classification in every stage race. He is providing is performance data to the public on the Mapei Sport homepage (www.mapeisport.it/IvanBasso/).
The two young guns Roman Kreuziger and Vincenzo Nibali gained another year of experience, and now everybody expects even more of these two riders. Winning a stage and the overall classification at the Tour de Romandie and finishing ninth at the Tour de France, the Czech Roman Kreuziger is looking forward to more big results. Sicilian all-rounder Vincenze Nibali will start the 2010 season with similar ambitions, after his seventh place overall at the Tour de France.
But there aren't just riders for the general classification - their sprinters are also absolutely top level in pro cycling. The experienced Daniele Bennati and Francesco Chicchi together with the talented young sprinters Fabio Sabatini, Jacopo Guarnieri and Daniel Oss will go for stage wins and successes in one day races.
