What should I send in when I return parts for service?

SRM Service Form:  downloadable from: www.srm.de

Provide an e-mail address on Repair Form so you can receive a UPS tracking number from the service center when we ship your repaired SRM.

PowerMeter: Right crank arm (driveside) with PowerMeter and chainrings attached.  Please pack in bubblewrap.  Please clean or you could incur a $20 cleaning fee.

PowerControl: Please send your PowerControl along with the charger.  Please pack in bubblewrap.

 

How should I send my SRM parts in for servicing?

  • Please use UPS, Fed Ex or DHL
  • Insure for retail value
  • Please bubblewrap your PowerControl and PowerMeter.


Delivery - What can brown do for you?

SRM uses UPS for return shipping.
If you do not choose an option between Ground, 2nd Day, or Overnight - the default is Ground.

 

Tracking your shipment

Once you have shipped your repair please track your shipment with the courier company prior to calling the service center.
You will receive an email from serviceusa@srm.de once we have put your repair in the service queue.

 

How long will the repair take?

  • Please allow 5-6 business day for us to complete your repair.  We want you to be back on your bike as quickly as you do!
  • If you have not received a UPS tracking number after 5-6 business days of your repair arriving, please call the service center to check the status.

Costs

What will it cost to get my SRM Training System serviced?

Battery changes:
PowerMeter: $100 - includes recalibration. You will receive a new slope.
Powercontrol : $50

Calibration: $45 (recommended annually)

Changing color of PCV/PCVI: $100

New SRM PowerMeter decal: $20

New crankarms: Dura Ace = $495, FSA = $450, Standard Professional (Octalink or Square Taper) = $185 (includes recalibration)

 
Warranty

How long does the warranty last, and what does it cover?

  • The warranty is three years on all new purchased SRM systems, PowerMeter only or PC7 only including batteries.
  • Without a warranty card on file, the warranty year will start when SRM USA sold the SRM to the individual or dealer.
  • The warranty is transferable.
  • The warranty does not cover wear parts such as chainrings, bottom brackets or cranks.
