What kind of options do I have to run SRM software on a Mac?
SRM is offering a native Mac software available for download at www.srm.de/index.php/gb/support/phoca-down-test/category/31-srm-mac-software
However, this version does not offer any more sophisticated functionality to analyze data at the moment.

- Option #1: Macs with the Intel processors can now run Windows and Windows programs. Contact your Mac dealer for information on how to purchase, install and run Windows software on a Mac. Once you have this set up, you can download our SRM Win Software. If you are using a PowerControl V, you should download drivers for USB Download cable for both the Mac and Windows/PC.
Do I need to delete my old software before downloading a new version of SRMMac?
No, the old software will be deleted when you upload the new software. Your SRM data (trainingdata and settings) will NOT be deleted.

Will my old files be lost if I delete the software to download a new version of SRMMac?
No, your files will not be lost. If they were saved in the default location, the new version will automatically find them and show them in your file list.
If I download and install the PC VI/7 firmware update, will all of the training files currently saved on my computer be deleted, or just on the SRM PowerControl?
If there is still data in the Powercontrol memory when you are trying to install the firmware upgrade for the PC VI/7, you will see the following error message:
"Error: There are still data in the Powercontrol. Please download before updating Firmware".
Please download all data and erase the memory before updating the firmware.
All of your training files in the software on your computer are safe, and will not be deleted.
Can I use more than one SRM System in one copy of the SRM Mac software?
You can download multiple SRM PowerControls into the same SRM Mac program. You can name them differently or the same - your choice. The SRM Mac program in your computer will not alter the settings of your PowerControl - e.g. slope and zero offset.
This is particularly relevant for coaches - you can work with as many athletes as you like, within one copy of the SRM Mac software, and all of their data will be stored with their individual system settings.
