SRM Dealer Training: Jülich, Germany

dealertraining1

November 10th-11th marked the annual SRM training for German-speaking dealers at the SRM headquarters in Jülich, Germany. To ensure the highest quality of training and education, the number of participants was limited to 10.

Participants were given a complete tour of the historic building and were able to see SRM’s hand in the progression of professional cycling. Many visitors enjoyed the original team bikes from T-Mobile, U.S. Postal Service, CSC, High Road, and more. In addition to the remarkable bikes, numerous yellow, green, pink and rainbow jerseys were displayed featuring autographs and dedications to SRM.

Rudolf Schoberer presented an introductory lecture and an overview of the history of SRM. He detailed the operational areas of performance measurement and the optimum use of SRMWin software.

Mirco Smerecnik followed with a lecture focused on performance analysis, the foundation of a successful training plan. A performance test was then conducted to represent performance diagnosis on the SRM Ergometer.

The SRM production rooms were toured after the lectures and many participants were surprised to learn that the production at SRM is at an advanced factory level. Every PowerMeter and PowerControl is hand-built by highly trained, passionate employees. It is SRM’s core belief that only in this way can precision and quality of a high-performance measurement system be truly created. The SRM staff re-created each step of the production of PowerMeter and PowerControl and guests were invited to try their own assembly of a PowerControl.

SRM also benefitted from the dealer training, accepting all suggestions and critiques about products and customer service. This feedback is very valuable and allows SRM to continue to grow and improve and we look forward to great things next year!

Mario explains SRM PowerMeter production to guests.
