Dominio assoluto di Denis Fumarola alla XCO Campochiesa 2020: primo vincitore con i nostri pedali X-Power!

"Quasi tutte le gare di questo genere vengono definite come delle crono individuali di 1h30’ sul quale però incidono diversi aspetti tra cui : quello psicologico di sfida con gli avversari (non sei da solo durante tutta la gara, come invece avviene nelle cronometro), la conformazione del terreno ovvero la presenza di salite tecniche con bruschi cambi di pendenza, ecc. Per vincere la gara di Campochiesa (SV) mi ci sono voluti : 362 W NP ; 304 W medi ; 178 bpm medi ; per coprire una distanza di 31 km e 950 m d+ fatti in 1h24’39”.
In questo momento della stagione il mio FTP di riferimento è di 371W (valore calcolato automaticamente dal mio PC8 svolgendo 3x16’ max) ed una soglia di 185 bpm. Questa gara arrivava al termine di un periodo di carico e il giorno dopo di un allenamento intenso.
Stefano Valdrighi ha conquistato la vittoria alla Bacialla Bike, primo appuntamento del Cannondale MTB Tour Toscana, creando una brillante apertura alla stagione 2020 di SOUDAL-LEE COUGAN Racing Team, in un percorso granfondo di di 44 Km e 1400 mt di dislivello caratterizzato nella prima parte da tre salite di circa 3 Km, per poi trasformarsi nella parte finale in un continuo mangia e bevi intervallati da tratti di single track tecnici. Sono state 2h di gara, NP del vincitore 328W pari a 5,2W/Kg. La soglia CP di Stefano è di 348W pari a 5,5W/kg.

On Saturday 13th October, Michi Weiss delivered, quite possibly, the finest performance of his career so far. He achieved a top 10 in the deepest field of pro triathletes on the planet. The highlight was posting the 2ndfastest bike split ever seen in the 40-year history of the race. The relatively benign atmospheric conditions played their part in that performance but take nothing away from its sheer brilliance. Lets take a closer look at his SRM power file.
