Ironman World Championships 2013

01. November 2013 - 3 years, 4 months and 22 days ago

Belgian Frederik Van Lierde won the 2013 GoPro Ironman World Championship by putting on what Craig Alexander later referred to as “a clinic” of patience, pacing and tactics. Never at the front until the end, Van Lierde had a plan, executed it to perfection and walked away with his first World Championship title. His SRM power data shows he averaged 294 watts (4.1 w/kg) for the ride, but it’s how and when he put out those watts that mattered. Training Peaks analyzes his data to see how his bike set him up for victory.

Japan Cup 2013

25. October 2013 - 3 years, 4 months and 26 days ago

SRM sponsored team, Saxo-Tinkoff, finished the season with a fantastic result in the Japan Cup Road Race where Michael Rogers took matters in to his own hands and soloed his way to victory in heavy rain after 151.3 kilometers of riding. The mountainous course in Utsunomiya Forest was an excellent fit for the powerful Saxo-Tinkoff Aussie and when he first broke clear on the final lap not even a handful of chasing riders were able to catch him. -teamsaxotinkoff.com
