Austrian mountain bike professional, Alban Lakata, took the win in Singen, Germany on May 12, 2013. The World Champion, and five time Austrian national champion, raced the marathon on the SRM Mountain Bike Training System.
Lakata, known to many as The Albanator, share his SRM race file from the event which illustrates the awe inspiring power and endurance that elite mountain bikers deliver on course!

Alban's ability to pace himself with the SRM is seen in the lap 1 and lap 2 data comparison. The total lap time is almost identical, as well as his average heartrate, speed, and cadence. His average power increases in lap 2 towards the end as he pushes to catch Sauser.
