The SRM Ergometer with integrated SRM Training System brings the highest level of sports performance measurement to the laboratory or university setting. Each SRM ErgoMeter is tested, calibrated and certified for protocol measurements with data accuracy with less than 0.5% error.
Fully adjustable saddle position and handlebars, can be adjusted to any position for cyclists of between 140 and 200 cm.
Individually adjustable crank length from 160mm-180mm.
Robust design allowing a stable base for highly-accurate measurements and years of reliable, consistent use.
Large flywheel masses that simulate kinetic energy and the sensation of cycling at high speeds realistically and which can be adjusted to the athlete’s weight to allow the maximum simulation of real conditions.
Two different operational modes that can be programmed freely by the user for Isokenetic and Hyperbolic Modes.
Each SRM ErgoMeter uses the SRM Online option showing planned and actual real-time data on separate display screens for immediate rider feedback.
Braking power from 20 up to 4,200 watts.
For step and ramp tests and tests that keep power constant over a longer period of time. The cyclist can determine his optimum, individual cadence himself, the ErgoMeter keeps the resistance constant. All data are shown on the screen in online mode and then saved. The data analysis can be carried out with the SRM win-software. A simple editor allows you to program as many different tests as you like. The shortest interval is 1 second.
For tests to measure maximum power and physical condition with varying cadence. The cyclist himself determines his power output, as the ErgoMeter keeps the cadence constant. In other words, the brake keeps the pre-set resistance constant when the programmed cadence and corresponding pre-set power are reached – even if you try to increase the cadence. This makes it possible to determine the actual endurance capacity in relation to a pre-set time.
Each component can be ordered to custom standards depending on your testing needs.
The gearbox of the SRM ErgoMeter was engineered for a large range of adjustment, while maintaining ride feel and overall durability. The adjustable fly-masses allow for custom tuning of protocol conditions. The internal gears of the Rohloff hub give the SRM ErgoMeter years of maintenance free use.
Each SRM ErgoMeter has optional SRM Adjustable crank arms (if ordered with the SRM PowerMeter Science). The range of adjustment is from 150mm to 190mm.
The SRM Performance Center located in Jülich, Germany, provides a two day training course on SRM ErgoMeter setup and functionality. The training also provides customized instruction on designing performance testing protocols and setup.
Typical ordering and delivery time is 4 weeks. Please click on the contact link below to email Mirco Smerecnik at the SRM Performance Center for more information.
