Rico Bogen is one of the most exciting athletes of the new generation in international triathlon. Born in Leipzig and coming from a competitive swimming background, Rico made his way to the top of the sport in remarkably little time.

His international breakthrough came in 2023, when he became IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion in Lahti at just 22 years old. Since then, he has consistently proven himself at the highest level, delivering strong performances across the middle distance and on the T100 Triathlon World Tour.

In 2026, Rico impressively demonstrated that he also belongs among the world’s best over the full distance. Making his debut at the legendary Challenge Roth, he immediately claimed 3rd place.
